Aberdare
Town
are
disappointed
to
announce
that
long
serving
committee
member
Richard
Rowlands
has
decided
to
step
down
from
the
Management Committee.
Richard
has
been
a
mainstay
of
the
clubs
committee
for
many
years
and
was
chairman
for
a
long
period
before
handing
over
the reigns to Garry Williams.
On
his
departure
Garry
said
on
behalf
of
the
Club:
“We
are
all
sad
that
Richard
has
decided
its
time
to
take
a
back
seat
but
if
anybody
deserves
a
rest
following
his
huge
commitment
to
Aberdare
Town
its
him.
We
cannot
thank
him
enough
for
his
years
of
service
and
we
are
delighted
that
he
will
continue
to
help
us on a matchday including writing our match reports”.
Meanwhile
David
Sweet
has
been
co-opted
onto
the
Committee
at the monthly meeting tonight.
Dave
became
involved
with
the
Club
last
season
and
in
the
summer
took
on
launching
our
first
full
youtube
channel
(ATFC.TV).
A
solicitor
by
trade
his
football
and
business
experience,
not
to
mention
legal
knowhow,
will
officially
offer
a
warm welcome to him.
