It
has
been
a
busy
couple
of
weeks
for
Aberdare
Town
following
the
arrival
of
Josh
Evans
as
new
Manager
with
a
whole
host
of
new
(and
some
familiar)
faces
moving
to
Aberaman Park.
Before
Josh
had
chance
to
meet
his
new
squad
he
already
had
spaces
to
fill
following
the
departure
of
several
players
as
Levi
Jones,
Dylan
Jones
and
Scott
Griffiths
all
left
for
AFC
Llwydcoed
while
Drew
Langdon
and
Cory
Thomas
both
signed
for
Treharris
Athletic Western.
First
to
sign
for
the
Club
is
former
Aberdare
midfielder
Gethin
Jones
who
will
be
familiar
to
Aber
supporters
from
a
previous
spell
at
The
Park.
He
was
closely
followed
by
Jordan
Yanez
who
has
had
spells
with
Merthyr
Town
and
Longwell
Green
Sports
after
a
brief
stint
at
Aberdare
and
another
familiar
face
is
full
back
Matthew
Glassey
who
joins
after
spells
with
Trethomas
Bluebirds
and Penrhicweiber.
Of
the
new
faces
exciting
striker
Aarran
Caffell
joins
from
Aberfan
after
topping
the
scoring
charts
for
the
last
three
seasons,
full
back
Aaron
Tyner
from
Merthyr
Town,
left
back
Callum
Tandy
(brother
of
former
Aber
winger
Rhys),
midfielders
Jack
Stait
and
Rhodri
Thomas
along
with
striker
Leon
Grant
from
Trebanog
(formerly at the academy of Cambrian & Clydach).
We
welcome
all
our
new
signings
and
hope
they
enjoy
their
time
at
the
Park
as
we
look
to
bring
about
a
new
successful
era.
We
also
wish
our
departing
players
well
for
the
future
and
thank
them
for their efforts at ATFC.
