We
are
pleased
to
announce
that
Paul
Searl
has
agreed
to
step
up
to
the
position
of
men’s
team
Manager
to
see
us through to the end of the season.
Paul
joined
the
Club
this
season
as
part
of
the
men’s
management
set-up
and
has
experience
in
the
Southern
Premier
League with Thame United.
He
will
be
closely
supported
by
Dai
Thomas
who
also
joined
the
Club
this
season
having
left
Merthyr
Saints
and
will
now be Assistant Manager.
They
are
currently
finalizing
their
coaching
team
and
are
also
looking
at
making
new
signings
before
the
league
resumes
in
the
New
Year
with
only
10
league
games
(and
1
league
cup)
remaining
as
the
team
aim
to
move
away
from
the relegation battle which they are currently in.
Upon
his
appointment
Paul
said:
“I
am
thrilled
to
be
given
the
chance
to
manage
Aberdare
Town
and
it
is
our
aim
to
try
and
turn
around
where
we
currently
find
ourselves.
The
Club
would
like
to
thank
those
who
have
decided
to
part
ways
with
us
but
we
are
confident
that
with
those
that
remain,
plus
a
few
new
faces
that
we
wish
to
add
both
on
the
pitch
and
to
our
coaching
team,
that
when
Dai
and
myself
put
our
own
stamp
on
things
(COVID
allowing),
we
will
give
it
a
real
go
in
what
can
only
be
described
as
a
relegation
battle.
It’s
going
to
be
a
tough
few
months
but
one
that
we
are
excited
for”.
