Aberdare Town   will   start   life   in   the   South   Wales Alliance   League   with   several   home   fixtures   after   the   opening   set of fixtures until the end of August was released. On   the   revised   opening   day   of   the   season,   which   will   now   be   Saturday   24th   July   -   Aber   will   play   host   to   Cardiff Corinithians   (ko   2.00pm)   unless   either   team   are   in   the   next   round   of   the   JD   Sports   Welsh   Cup   which   will   take precedence. A week later we are on the road as we make the journey to face Cefn Cribwr. Wednesday   August   4th   will   see   much   fancied   Merthyr   Saints   visit   Aberaman   Park   for   the   first   evening   game   of   the season   while   Aber   Valley   make   the   trip   on   Saturday   7th   to   The   Park   in   a   busy   couple   of   days   at   home   for   Terry Fitzpatrick’s   charges.      However,   as   the   second   round   of   the   FAW   Amateur   Trophy   is   on   the   7th   that   fixture   may   also have to be rescheduled. Blaenrhondda visit on Wednesday 11th August and then its back on our travels on the Saturday at Trebanog. Its   Canton   Liberal   away   on   Friday   20th August   unless   teams   are   in   the   next   round   of   the   FAW   Trophy   and   the   last   game of the month will see Grange Albion visit The Park on Saturday 28th.  * Fixtures and kick off times are subject to change
