Over the course of this season we have been working hard on improving the facilities within our Club as part of our ongoing improvement programme. The first major project was to install a brand new kitchen facility, moving it from the outside building to within the club itself and it is now situated behind the bar. We would also like to thank our vice-chair Ray Pearce for his donation of some of the new equipment within the kitchen and other committee members who have also contributed items. There are still a couple of small snagging items to complete before we can launch the kitchen for full use. In order to install the new kitchen we had to relocate the ladies toilets and one of the rooms within the foyer area is now being converted and is nearing completion. Moving forward we hope to provide a baby changing facility too as well as updating all of our electrical systems and lighting within the club itself. There are other future works also being planned too. We are also in the process of providing a new storage facility and will be creating a new entrance into the gents toilet to help comply with hygiene regulations. All of the works we have undertaken have not used any club funds with all works being undertaken voluntarily as well as all materials and equipment being donated - we thank everybody who has contributed to these important projects. On Bank Holiday Monday we will be having a new larger cellar installed courtesy of our partners Liquid Measure and Heineken and this will mean we will have four available draught products available: BIRRA MORETTI (abv 4.6) HEINEKEN SILVER (abv 4.0) STRONGBOW DARKFRUITS (abv 4.0) INCHES CIDER (abv 4.5) Due to our escalating monthly bills (especially electric) we have had to increase the cost of all of our products on the bar and you will see the change in prices come into effect from Monday 10th April 2023. This is the first time we have increased our prices since 2020 and the largest increase will be on spirits. We hope you understand and thank you for your continued support of Aberdare Town.
