Aberdare Town have been informed that Saturday’s game away to Thornhill Athletic in the JD Welsh Cup will no longer be going ahead. Our hosts have decided to pull out of the competition due to a COVID outbreak and therefore decided they were unable to take part and have pulled out. We wish Thornhill all the best for the rest of the season. Meanwhile the draw for the South Wales Alliance W John Owen Cup has given us a bye in the first round of this season’s competition. The first round takes place on Saturday 24th September and we look forward to receiving the draw for the next round in due course.
