Aberdare Town are delighted to confirm that Joanne Speck will be taking on the important role of Club Secretary. Jo is well known to everybody within the Club having been on the Committee for the last couple of seasons and during that time has been the instigator of several important projects such as our Christmas Hamper appeal, period poverty campaign and was a key player in the start up of our fabulous Kickers section. She has also acted as our Mini Secretary, helped with safeguarding issues and is also the Safeguarding Officer for the Aberdare Valley Football League. Jo will officially take up post on the 1st July with the support of outgoing Secretary David Sweet and will be backed by the Management Committee with various tasks being divided up. We wish Jo all the best for her new role as we look to continue the progress of the last few years on and off the pitch.
