Just over a month ago we started our brand new KICKERS club for children to get their first steps into playing football. The brainchild of Mini secretary Joanne Speck and backed by coaches from our mini and junior teams, the original two sessions on a Saturday morning were soon booked out and before even the first child kicked a ball a further two sessions on a Sunday were added. We were delighted to be visited by our MS, Vikki Howells, who opened the new club for our first session. The opening month has seen some great feedback from parents and it has been amazing to see how quickly our future little stars are developing not only basic skills but self confidence as well as they mix with new people adding to their social development. With the opening month complete we have now launched our KICKERS KIT which parents can order via our supplier at KIT which is based upon our clubs main strip but with the added touch of Aberaman Park being sublimated into the shirt as well. Newsletters are available every month and there will be dedicated Kickers Parties with the first being a halloween party. The club would like to thank all those coaches, and helpers from our junior teams, who have given up their Saturday and Sunday mornings to make this such a success - it is that success that has led us to be able to secure a long term booking now for the facilities to ensure that Kickers goes on, and on, and on!
