Over the course of the summer the South Wales Alliance League has been rebranded ahead of the new season and will now be known as the South Wales Premier League. Aber will be competing in the South Wales Premier League Championship Division. The provisional opening fixtures have been announced and Aberdare will start at home to newly promoted side Cwmbach Royal Stars in a local derby on Saturday 10th August. This will be followed by another tough game a week later when we visit Clwb Cymric on Saturday 17th August.
