Huge congratulations to our Under 15’s who have today won the Cynon Rhondda Merthyr Junior Football League Cup! With the game played in glorious sunshine at The Bont (Penydarren) they came up against local rivals AFC Penrhiwceiber. After a tight first half Aber went into the break ahead thanks to a back post header from Jack Field. In the second half, with their opponents searching an equaliser, Ellis Lewis netted a second before scoring a second shortly afterwards. The league awarded Jack Field the player of the match award before the trophy was presented to a jubilant team and supporters. Special mention to Ceiber who played their part in an excellent final and showed how good football in the valley is. Everybody at the Club sends their congratulations to Pubby, coaches and the squad on a great achievement.
