A   visit   to   Blaenrhondda   promised   to   be   a   tough   encounter   as   the   hosts   had   already   fought   out   goalless   draws   with the top two sides in the league. Four   changes   from   last   week's   match   saw   Liam   Pryor, Amenye   Ndele,   Ibby   Djilla   and   Dan   Cushion   start   on   a   wet   and   windy afternoon although the pitch held up well throughout. Playing   up   the   slope,   the   hosts   drove   2   shots   straight   at   Pryor   while   the   usual   neat   play   from Aberdare   was   lacking   in   the   final pass. After   Cushion   had   to   be   replaced   early   by   Noah   Searl   through   injury,   Aberdare   took   the   lead   for   the   fifth   game   in   a   row   as Searl sent Djilla along the byline to set up Yusuf Ali for the opener on 26 minutes. After   a   bad   miss   from   close   in   for   the   home   side,   they   equalised   a   minute   before   the   break   as   a   cross   was   not   dealt   with   to allow Owain Jones to easily head home. A   blow   for   the   visitors   came   on   49   minutes   as   the   referee   allowed   a   volley   from   Deacon   Greening   on   the   edge   of   the   box   to find the far corner despite Aberdare protests for offside with Pryor unsighted. Just 7 minutes later a flick on was not stopped and Logan Jones netted for 3-1. Blaenrhondda   were   now   stronger,   closing   down Aber   when   danger   threatened   and   wrapped   the   win   up   on   83   minutes   when   a

corner saw Mike Jones easily head into goal. However,   one   ray   of   light   came   when   new   signing   and   substitute   Kian   Johnson   saw   his   attempt   put   away   for   a   corner   but reacted first as it came into the box and netted Aberdare's second on 95 minutes. Another   disappointment   for   the   Aber   fans   after   a   good   start   but   next   Friday's   home   game   versus   Canton   Liberal   at   7.30 gives a chance to remedy things.
