Details for the weekend of 18th April SATURDAY The Under 12s had an away game against AFC Abercynon Red and despite an early goal from skipper Luc Davies ended up on the end of a 5-1 defeat, The senior team, cheered on by a crowd of approaching 150, couldn’t grab the important points in the chase for avoiding relegation as they slipped to a 2-0 defeat to Porth Harlequins who scored a goal in each half. The bright spot of the day however was the Under 16 side being presented with the league title during the half time break in the senior team game. Huge congratulations to them all. SUNDAY On Sunday the girls Under 13s had a convincing 5-0 away victory against Llantwit Major Town thanks to goals from Maggie Simons, Emie Clement, Amelia Fidler (x2) and Ruby Hallett. The win moves the girls up to third place with two games to go in yet another superb season for the team.
